However, a few years back, they were making really crumby cars that fall apart fast. So, I wouldn't recommend getting a used one. Also, sorry, but generally reliability and good resale value go hand in hand (Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus etc.) Mitsubishis, if you can get them, have good reliability and don't retain their value to well. You could get one, if you can find one that has been taken care of well, that is. Anyway, I think spending just a little more money for the more reliable make is worth it. We just got a 98 Civic for only $3,100 that's in great condition. I suggest either an old corolla or a civic.
